Message your instructor, then pay them directly
Ask questions before the lesson in the app's messages. You pay your instructor directly, however they list it (Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or at the lesson). Caliber doesn't take or hold lesson payments, and students never pay Caliber. After your lesson, leave a review to help the next student.
- In-app messages with your instructor
- No booking fees from Caliber

Frequently asked questions
Does Caliber check instructors' credentials?
No. Instructors on Caliber are independent. Caliber doesn't verify identity, credentials, licenses or backgrounds, so ask about an instructor's experience and certifications before you book, and read their reviews.
How do I pay for a lesson?
You pay the instructor directly, the way they list (for example Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or at the lesson). Caliber doesn't process lesson payments and doesn't charge students anything.
What if I need to cancel?
Each instructor uses one of three cancellation policies (Flexible, Standard or Strict), shown before you send a request. Because you pay the instructor directly, any refund comes from them. See the full policy details on the Caliber page.
Are there instructors in my area?
Caliber Classes is open for in-person lessons in all 50 states and Washington, DC, and new instructors are joining. Search your city or ZIP in the app to see who's near you. If there's no one yet, check back, or tell an instructor you know about Caliber.
Can I get my concealed carry permit through Caliber?
No. Caliber doesn't list state permit or license courses. Instructors on Caliber offer safety, fundamentals and skills lessons. For a state permit course, check your state's official list of approved instructors.
